HARC charity shops have recently undergone a
transformation as HARC re-vamps its shops and image to provide
an improved shopping experience to local residents and visitors.
Furniture Department.
The HARC charity shop in Queens Road, Hastings has been
extended and now offers a furniture department selling good quality
furniture and household goods specially selected by their local
stock collector. The furniture combined with clothing and
bric-a-brac, a selection of competitively priced antiques and some
rare records is attracting many favourable comments from customers
old and new.
Designer labels,
China, Glassware, Audio and Video. In London Road, St Leonards, a complete change to
the layout and keener prices are proving popular with the locals and
tourists visiting the area. A super new window display offers the
complete outfit for the discerning shopper with labels like PRADA
sometimes available. A wide range of china, glassware, audio and
video is also on display. We have also recently introduced furniture into
the St Leonards shop.
These improvements have been made possible
through Sussex Enterprise who offered HARC training with a retail
specialist and Ten Sixty Six Enterprise who are sponsoring some of
the new shop fittings.
This is an exciting time for HARC, one of the few
truly local charity shops in the area. We would like to thank all
those who have helped and supported us over the years, especially those who
continued to shop at HARC during the period of extensive refit at
our shops.
HARC welcomes good quality donations and
volunteers to help in our shops. The shops can be contacted on 01424
722164/720500 any day except Sunday from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
